With all the non-stop ABL summer action going on, it’s been difficult to catch up on the Pro Alumni Database. But draft picks are signing, undrafted free agents are rustling up contracts, and rather than let all the excitement pass by and have to play catch-up later, I thought it was about time I spent a few hours updating this thing!
My main intention here is not to update the assignments of all the players that are already in the database, although I have made a few updates that I thought were noteworthy. Rather, the main thrust of this update was to add in some players who I have either overlooked previously (I apparently did an especially poor job on my Pilots 2010 draft list), or who have signed as draft picks or undrafted free agents in 2012. I intend to go back through the whole list at some point in the near future to update all the assignments and weed out some apparently-retired players, but it makes more sense to me to do that once I have the list of names relatively complete and current.

Jesse Jack is a life-long Alaskan (except for a stint in Montana) who studies Civil Engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage from August through May, and lives at the ballpark during June and July.
