Kevin Swick Scouting VIdeo

Swick, the infielder out of Southern California, is a guy I really like. He’s a junior headed into the 2013 MLB Draft and I am very confident he’ll get drafted. He had four tools that I thought were above the curve. He made solid contact for average, showed some pop in his bat, and he could run and throw well. Perfect Game ranked him #17 on their 2012 Alaska top prospects list and for good reason.

Pilots Seize 7th Straight Mayor’s Cup

With an 8-5 win over the Bucs last night, the Anchorage Glacier Pilots have secured the 2012 Mayor’s Cup hardware. This year’s victory makes it seven straight for the boys in blue. Monday’s opening match was a win for the Bucs, who clenched the game by a final score of 5-4. Mike Theodore gave up [...]

Pilots Fly into First

With the season at its approximate half-way point, the Anchorage Glacier Pilots find themselves in a position they’ve got to like: sole possession of first place in the league standings. I do realize, though, that we’re cutting right [...]
